From Saint Lucia to Saint Barthélemy: Explora Journeys’ Caribbean Season
Explora Journeys is set for an exciting Caribbean season from October 2026 to March 2027, with EXPLORA I and EXPLORA III visiting destinations including Saint Barthélemy, Saint Lucia and the British Virgin Islands, combining luxury resort-style living with multi-island exploration.
Dubai, 12 September 2026:
With EXPLORA I and the newly launched EXPLORA III, guests will be able to explore multiple Caribbean islands while enjoying the comfort and service of a luxury resort at sea.
EXPLORA I will begin its Caribbean sailings from Miami on 17 November 2026. EXPLORA III will make its Caribbean debut, arriving in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 1 November after a Journey from Québec City along the Atlantic seaboard. The ship will then sail between Miami and San Juan during the season.
The itineraries include sought-after destinations such as Saint Barthélemy, Saint Lucia and the British Virgin Islands, along with quieter Caribbean shores.
Guests can discover The Baths on Virgin Gorda, explore rainforest and waterfalls in Dominica, watch humpback whales in Samaná Bay and snorkel around Grenada’s Underwater Sculpture Park. Other experiences include exploring the music and culture of Trinidad and Tobago and discovering secluded coastal spots in Anguilla.
The journeys also offer opportunities to connect with local food and traditions. Guests can enjoy a beachside lobster lunch in Antigua, create their own rum blend in Saint Kitts or work alongside a master chocolatier in Saint Lucia.
Back onboard, the experience focuses on spacious oceanfront suites, open-air spaces, dining, wellness and personalised hospitality. With no fixed dining times, guests can plan their days around their own pace, whether that means exploring ashore, relaxing by the pool or simply enjoying the ocean views.
The festive season will bring Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year celebrations under Caribbean skies. On EXPLORA III, guests can welcome 2027 with fireworks over San Juan.
“There is no single Caribbean,” said Anna Nash, President of Explora Journeys. “It is a collection of different worlds, each with its own character, traditions and natural beauty.”
With a new horizon each morning, Explora Journeys aims to offer travellers a seamless way to experience the many sides of the Caribbean without the usual hassle of moving between islands.
