Dubai, UAE – January 22, 2025 – On January 27th, KRASOTA restaurant, in partnership with RARARES Gallery, is launching a groundbreaking gastronomic and immersive experience that celebrates creativity, culture, and identity.
This event features the renowned contemporary African American artist Médéric Turay, celebrated for his innovative fusion of tribal art and contemporary abstract expressionism. Turay’s bold and evocative works span across canvases, ceramics, and digital art, exploring themes of belonging, transformation, and identity formation.
Located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, within the Address Downtown Hotel, KRASOTA is a meticulously designed space where art, technology, and haute cuisine converge. Co-led by RARARES Gallery, the restaurant will be transformed for the occasion into a vibrant showcase of African contemporary heritage. Tailored digital projections and curated installations of Turay's latest masterpieces will create an immersive, multi-sensory experience.
Exclusively for guests on January 27th, the immersive experience will feature in-person storytelling by the artist himself. Guests will have the unique opportunity to enjoy specially crafted canapés inspired by Turay's art.
In addition to the experience, Turay will be live painting on a Hermès bag, turning it into a true piece of art. This unique creation will then be offered as part of a long-lasting auction, running for several weeks. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Dubai Cares, supporting global initiatives for children’s education.
The evening aims to engage all the senses, leaving a lasting impression through the unique fusion of art and gastronomy. This event promises to be an exceptional experience, elevating Dubai’s art scene to new heights and offering an unforgettable journey through the worlds of art and taste.
