Mövenpick Invites UAE Residents to Support Kilo of Kindness Until 27 November
Mövenpick’s Kilo of Kindness 2026 runs until 27 November across 90+ hotels worldwide, with all 10 UAE properties collecting essential goods for local charities and communities in need.
Dubai, 4 Nov 2026: Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has launched the 11th edition of its global Kilo of Kindness campaign, inviting guests, employees and local communities to support people in need through donations and acts of generosity.
Running from 26 October to 27 November 2026, this year's campaign involves more than 90 Mövenpick hotels worldwide. Participating properties are collecting essential items such as non-perishable food, clothing, school supplies and personal care products in partnership with local charities.
Since its launch in 2015, Kilo of Kindness has collected more than 130,000kg of essential goods, bringing together hotels, guests, employees and charity partners to support communities around the world.
10 Mövenpick hotels participating across the UAE
All 10 Mövenpick hotels and resorts in the UAE are taking part in the 2026 campaign. Guests and members of the public can drop off donations at participating properties, with each hotel working alongside its selected charity partner to identify the items most needed locally.
In Dubai, Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai is partnering with the Malabes Project by Beit Al Khair Society to collect clothing donations. The hotel will also organise a chocolate-making masterclass, alongside planned donation drives and educational activities involving local schools.
In Ras Al Khaimah, Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island is collecting clothing, educational supplies, toys and non-perishable goods for the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Charitable Education Foundation. The resort will also host a Chocolate Creation Experience combining a Moroccan tea ritual with a hands-on chocolate-making masterclass.
The other participating UAE properties are Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Downtown Dubai, Mövenpick Dubai Creek, Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach, Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City, Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Al Mamzar, Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai, Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Village Triangle and Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
A year-round approach to kindness
The 2026 edition also introduces a wider approach to the initiative. Beyond the annual collection of essential goods, individual hotels will be encouraged to organise community activities throughout the year, including volunteering, fundraising and local partnerships.
The campaign will also mark World Kindness Day on 13 November, celebrating the people and communities involved in making a difference.
Kerry Healy, Chief Commercial Officer for Accor's Premium, Midscale & Economy Division in Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific, said the initiative reflects Mövenpick's spirit of generosity and creates more opportunities for hotels, employees, guests and partners to support their communities.
Guests and local residents can participate until 27 November by visiting a participating Mövenpick property and leaving suitable donations at its designated collection point. Donation requirements vary depending on the needs identified by each hotel's charity partner.
