Dubai – October 18, 2024: Dubai is preparing for an unforgettable night, as the legendary DJ Eric Prydz takes the stage at Expo City Arena at Expo City Dubai, with his groundbreaking HOLO show in the Middle East for the first time. This globally acclaimed sonic-visual experience will be a fitting grand finale to GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest tech and start-up event.

Pulsating, open-air dance floor

To be held at the Expo City Arena, Prydz’ show will transform the venue into a pulsating, open-air dance floor, where cutting-edge technology and musical magic collide. Eric Prydz, the platinum-selling Swedish DJ, is famous for his visionary live performances, and having wowed audiences across the globe, from New York to Melbourne, and now it’s Dubai’s turn to be enthralled by HOLO.

Unmatched lineup of talent

The night will also feature an unmatched lineup of talent, including George Privatti, Paul Darey, IMEN, Masha Vincent, Bachir Salloum, Jixo & Danz, John Bowtie, and Mario Bazouri—each artist bringing their own unique rhythm to the night. Together, they will build the energy, setting the stage for the crescendo: Prydz’s iconic HOLO experience.

This performance is also notable for being a collaboration with Sónar, the legendary festival that stands as a beacon of music, creativity, and innovation. This is only the second time these two powerhouses of electronic music have joined forces, after sell-out show of HOLO at Sónar’s 30th anniversary in 2023.

Starting at 7:30 PM and lasting until the early hours, some 18,000 fans are expected to dance the night away to the electrifying music at the venue. According to organisers M Premiere, tickets for the show are flying off the shelves, and VIP tickets seem to be especially in demand. VIP ticket holders will enjoy an exclusive, elevated experience with plush seating, unobstructed view of the stage, and access to premium facilities, along with dedicated parking and an array of gourmet drinks.

Eric Prydz brings his world-famous live AV show HOLO to Expo City Arena at Expo City Dubai, an innovation-driven city of the future, for the official closing show of GITEX GLOBAL 2024. A celebration of technological and musical innovation, HOLO has wowed audiences across the world, thanks to its merging of music and 3D holographic projections into a one-of-a-kind AV experience. Now - and for the first time in the Middle East region - HOLO comes to Dubai as the closing show of the tech and startup event GITEX GLOBAL, presented in association with pioneering festival and cultural brand Sónar - a standard bearer for music, creativity and innovation since its first edition in Barcelona in 1994.

Guests at the age of 16 and above are welcomed from 19:30 onwards. Various international DJs will be performing at the event before the main star steps on the stage. The event is promising to be the biggest show in the region and highlight of the season. Follow the announcements as the final line-up of DJs to be announced in upcoming days.

HOLO is the brainchild of Eric Prydz, one of the world’s most popular electronic music producers and DJ’s. Eric has been a key influence on the evolving sound of electronic music for more than 20 years, alongside his aliases Pryda & Cirez D. Similarly committed to shaping the future of the live experience, his shows employ state of the art technology, bespoke lighting, and lasers to spellbinding effect. The show is a second collaboration between HOLO and Sónar, following its performance during the festival’s 30th anniversary in June 2023.
