64-Year-Old Jayesh Choksi Scales Mount Gorichen, Plants Kanz Jewels Flag at 6,488m

Arunachal Pradesh, India, October 7, 2025: In a feat of endurance and inspiration, 64-year-old mountaineer Jayesh Choksi has once again proven that age is no barrier to ambition. A passionate climber who has scaled several peaks across the world, his latest conquest was the formidable Mount Gorichen (6,488m) in Arunachal Pradesh, near the India-China border.
On this expedition, Jayesh carried with him a mission – to plant the flag of Dubai-based Kanz Jewels at the summit. After days of grit and determination, he accomplished the goal in style, proudly unfurling the Kanz flag at the top and capturing the triumphant moment against the majestic Himalayan backdrop.
