Dubai, 29 Sep 2026: COEX has launched the first 2026 K-Premium Products Fair in Dubai, bringing promising Korean consumer-goods companies together with buyers and distributors from across the Gulf region.
The three-day event is being held from September 29 to October 1 at InterContinental Dubai Festival City, with the aim of supporting Korean SMEs in entering the Middle Eastern market and developing new export channels.
H.E. Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade for the United Arab Emirates, attended the opening and delivered the keynote address. Lee Won-ik, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the UAE, and Jonghoon Han, Director of COEX, also attended the event.
A total of 50 Korean companies are participating across categories including beauty and fashion, living and interior, food and beverages, and other consumer products.
A key part of the fair is its one-on-one export consultation programme, connecting Korean companies with distributors and purchasing representatives from major retail networks across GCC markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. COEX has used its global buyer network and local agents to match potential buyers with participating companies based on their products and export requirements.
The event also features an offline product showcase and online sales programme. Participating brands are being introduced to local consumers through retail facilities in Dubai before and after the fair. Following the event, COEX will support cross-border online sales for around two months, allowing companies to assess consumer interest and market potential.
The Dubai edition marks COEX’s first event in the Middle East and follows its overseas business activities in Vietnam and Indonesia. COEX plans to use the event as a platform to expand export opportunities for Korean companies across the GCC, wider Middle East and MENA region.
