Power Actress Trio in 'The Crew' Teaser

Three of Bollywood’s most adored actresses are all set to walk down the aisle. No, it’s not the passageway that you’re thinking of. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon will be donning the uniforms and characters of air hostesses. This unique turn for the lady power-trio is perhaps symbolic of the fact their careers have been flying high and continue soar. 

So, what is the movie on the schedule board? It’s entitled The Crew and these three lovely ladies are equipped to attend to your every need while you grace the skies. They are also head-turners that might cause you a crick in the neck. But there’s trouble in the clouds as these diligent flight attendants get inadvertently drawn in a web of lies while fulfilling their duties. They have to join forces and use their wits to prevail and emerge on top. 

So, is this upcoming film a romantic drama or a thriller? Movie-goers will have to wait till the release date of March 29, 2024 to satisfy their curiosity. All the teaser reveals is a cryptic message from the captain, saying (translated into English): “Our crew will take great care of you. But we request you to tighten your seatbelts, lest your hearts pop out!” What’s more, the abrupt accompanying clip of K,T & K walking on the tarmac has the famous filmi number Choli ke Peeche playing in background.

The Ektaa R. Kapoor & Rhea Kapoor production has been director by Rajesh A. Krishnan, whose other credits are TVF Tripling (2016-19) and Lootcase (2020). Also appearing in the film is Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma who has a memorable cameo. The prolific Kareena registered two hits last year with Jaane Jaan and the Buckingham Murders, while Tabu added Bhola ad Khufiya to her kitty and Kriti’s cyborg movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is yet to hit screens. Ist seems Bollywood and the public can’t get enough of these three divas.
