I took the Mumbai AC Local Train for the first time & was shocked to see this

On my recent trip to Mumbai i took my first ever ticket for an AC Mumbai Local - Yes, 7 years after it started…I took it for the first time on my recent trip to Mumbai….For just 100 rupees you can travel all the way from Mira Road to Churchgate and the AC is chilling, but you know what’s cool the seats were not even cushioned

On the bright side, the compartments are interconnected, so the crowds get divided and it’s always a FAST local, that only stops at a few key stations

TCs are often on the prowl, so don’t even think about ticketless travel and by the way a first class ticket IS NOT valid for the AC train because it costs 10 bucks less. But an AC train ticket is valid for a first class on a NON ac local

After a point I thought of standing at the door to enjoy the views….and noticed some cool features on this train

Like this LED light, spacious interiors. This slick talkback button that lets you connect with the GRP or the loco pilot incase of an emergency 

A display panel that tells ki station konsi side aayega. And, of courseCCTV  cameras

I thought this emergency ladder wala sticker was only in AC trains but then its there in every train now

Finally, it was time for me to leave the cool AC of the train and get into the punishing heat of Mumbai.

But for 100 bucks, this Mumbai AC local is absolutely reviewron recommended
