Sneak Peek at the South Asia's Largest Hindu Mandir opening in Abu Dhabi today

Abu Dhabi, 31st January 2024: Ahead of its official opening on 14th February 2024 by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we at Reviewron got an exclusive peek at the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. While the temple is still under construction with masons and artisans giving finishing touches, there is no doubt in the mind of this journalist that the BAPS Mandir will become yet another tourist hotspot in the United Arab Emirates. This apart from being a revered place of worship for the Hindus where they can not only offer prayers but also find various other spiritual activities that form an integral part of their religion, customs and beliefs.

Spread across the 26 acres of land given by the UAE government, the sanctum sanctorum of the temple boasts of some 400 pillars with intricate carvings that are a unique calling card of all BAPS temples across the world.

It will house deities from across the Hindu belief spectrum and the visitors will be greeted by the Triveni Sangam entrance where waters from the three holy rivers of India - Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati will merge from three manmade streams facing the temple.

Built on the theme of love, peace and harmony, the BAPS Hindu Mandir is the largest in South Asia and one of its kinds in the UAE. It is expected to positively impact the already strong ties between India and the UAE.
