Red Sea IFF Opens Film Submissions 2025

6 May, 2025: We are delighted to announce that film submissions are now officially open for the 5th edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival, scheduled to take place in Al Balad, Jeddah’s historic district, from 4–13 December 2025.

Filmmakers from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia are invited to submit their films in the following sections:

Red Sea: Competition

Red Sea: Shorts Competition

New Saudi/New Cinema

Selected titles will compete for the prestigious Yusr Awards, including the Golden Yusr for Best Feature Film, with a prize of $100,000 USD.

Submissions are open until 17 August 2025, with an early bird window (no fee) available through 7 July 2025.
