From Dubai to 150+ Markets: How Fragrance World Built a Global Footprint
Global fragrance manufacturer traces its growth journey from Dubai to international markets during milestone event at Expo City Dubai.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates,19 January 2026: Fragrance World marked a significant milestone in its global expansion as the company celebrated its presence in more than 150 countries with a large-scale event held at Expo City Dubai.
The celebration reflected the brand’s growth journey that began in 1988, when Founder and Chairman Poland Moosa established his first company, Al Ghuroob, in Dubai. The business later evolved into Fragrance World in 2004, laying the foundation for its international fragrance manufacturing and distribution operations.
Headquartered in Dubai, Fragrance World has since expanded its portfolio with multiple brands, including French Avenue, launched in 2012, and Street Origins, introduced recently to cater to emerging global markets. The company operates a large-scale manufacturing facility and supplies fragrances to distributors and retail partners across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
The milestone event at Expo City Dubai opened with a drone display that revealed a commemorative logo digitally signed by the founder. The evening was attended by company leadership including CEO P. V. Salam, Joint CEO P. V. Safeer, senior management, international distributors, and invited guests. Actor Mammootty was also present at the event.
A key segment of the evening included the screening of a docu-fiction film titled “Kunjon,” which traces the entrepreneurial journey behind the brand. Directed by Jeevan Jose, the film was shot across multiple international locations and features a cast of more than 200 artistes. The film is scheduled for release on major digital platforms.
The event also marked the unveiling of the book “Fragrance of Legacy,” authored by Sebin Poulose, documenting the company’s evolution and expansion over the years.
More than 2,000 guests, including distributors from nearly 150 countries, attended the celebration. Several long-standing international partners were recognised on stage for their early contributions to the brand’s global growth, including representatives from Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, and Azerbaijan.
In addition, over 1,000 factory employees participated in a special parade at the venue, highlighting the scale of the company’s workforce. Employees completing 10, 20, and 30 years of service were acknowledged, along with high-performing team members. As part of the milestone programme, the company distributed gifts valued at over AED 3 million among staff and workers.
The event underscored Fragrance World’s continued focus on manufacturing, global distribution, and long-term workforce engagement as it expands its footprint across international fragrance markets.
