Is Karan Johar’s restaurant Neuma in South Mumbai #reviewronrecommended?

On my recent trip to Mumbai, we decided to have lunch at Karan Johar’s much talked about contemporary gourmet restaurant in south Mumbai called Nuema.

Crafted inside a spacious white European styled villa, Nuema takes the place of the iconic Indigo fine dine restaurant which was one the toast of south bombay

The prices are Ofcos in line with any restaurant of this class and scale so order wisely and you can trust the staff to guide you correctly about the ingredients, taste and potion sizes. We trusted their recommendations and don’t regret it.

What we loved about the most was the ambience and the service which was impeccable because our servers Deepak and Tushar were so knowledgeable and guided us perfectly well. 

We tried the brunch menu and ordered all vegetarian. We loved the cream cheese ???? bun (pull apart) and the drinks. Try their shakshuka paneer and sourdough breads. We had to order an extra potion of bread basket as the 2 pieces of bread were just not enough. 

The mushroom fettuccine pasta seemed like it had a generous potion of egg wash on it, so we didn’t like it much but the rest was all cool. 

Among the desserts the deconstructed cheesecake and the baked brie in phyllo were the top choices 

Overall, quite an experience especially because of its European summery style villa vibe.
