Fun, Feasting and Frolic Await at Dubai’s Global Village and Miracle Garden

Dubai, UAE, October 8, 2024: If indulgent entertainment and a carnival atmosphere with the family is what you desire, then Dubai’s Global Village is the ultimate choice. This popular location with shops, eateries, rides, shows and other attractions throws its doors open on Wednesday, October 16. The charming venue is marking its 29th season by adding to its allure. Indeed, the Village’s trio of Markets are getting a conceptual upgrade, designed to tickle the fancy and stoke the curiosity of residents and tourists alike. Meanwhile, spruced-up promenades, a brand new restaurant complex and fresh culture-displaying pavilions are guaranteed to add to this one-of-a-kind experience.

Appealing new designs have transformed Floating Market, Railway Market and Fiesta Street, all set to dazzle visitors with stunning panoramic views and heaps of items on sale. The last location in particular looks snazzier than ever, featuring the refreshing addition of two-floor kiosks. If treating yourself to tongue-tingling delights is your quest, then the newly-introduced Restaurant Plaza is guaranteed to do it. An enticing array of cuisines awaits across the complex’s eleven two-storey eateries. And partaking of the food gets even better with live variety entertainment being dished out on the Plaza’s centre-stage.

Adding to the feast are the spectacular cultural offerings housed in the 30 Pavilions. These towering installations proudly stand as a glowing tribute to over 90 of the world’s cultures and communities. If the family and you still haven’t run out of breath from the breath-taking experiences on display, then a walk down the expansive and verdant promenades will adequately cap this memorable outing.

As with nearly everything else in Dubai, size does matter, and the Global Village is no exception. The venue stretches across 17 million square feet, boasting 3,500 shopping outlets and parking space for more than 18,000 vehicles. What’s more, a bus service from Ajman to The Village commences on October 16. To get a holistic flavour of Global Village, VIP tickets are available. These include the Mega Gold Pack which bears a price tag of AED 4,745 and the Mega Silver Pack which is priced at AED 3,245. Regardless, guests are sure to get their money’s worth at a global attraction like this.

While on the concept of Big, Bold and Beautiful, another of Dubai’s most attractive destinations is Miracle Garden. This carefully-manicured and richly-decorated botanical expanse is truly a miracle. Where once lay a barren and bleak desert, this destination is now home to 150 million floral specimens belonging to 120 different varieties. Not surprisingly, Miracle Garden has thus earned the distinction of being the Largest Flower Garden in the World.

What’s more, flowers have been artistically arranged in themes such as the Floating Lady, Heart Tunnel, Umbrella Tunnel and Emirates Airlines A380 – making for a most captivating and naturally-sourced visual experience. For those keen to make Miracle Garden a part of their Dubai site-seeing excursions, the venue is open through the week from 9 am to 9 pm and on Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am to 11 pm. Whoever said Dubai is all chrome and concrete!
