No one will tell you this about Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire | Review

Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel, is Tollywood’s biggest film this year and as they say the best is kept for the last. Salaar ke saath bhi kuch aisa hi hai. It gives you exactly what you exopect from it if you’re a fan of this genre.

It’s a riveting tale of power, politics, friendship and brotherhood, where an inimitable force like Deva meaning Prabhas, is on a dangerous mission to save his best friend Vardha meaning Prithviraj - everything else is incidental and this story is not at all as simple as it looks

From its trailer one could tell that Salaar stands as one of those monumental films in the Indian film industry. But is it? Well, the short answer is YES. The grandiosity of the production, is evident in its every frame, as it strives hard to emphasise on the magnitude of its cinematic capabilities.

The film's action sequences are nothing short of spectacular, offering us a thrilling experience. It’s long, simmering and full of brutal bloodshed. But, what truly sets Salaar apart is the unexpected emotional depth and the drama that unfolds between the Vardha and Deva. This emotional core is the beating heart of this otherwise violently action packed film.

One of the standout features of Salaar is its climax, which leaves us on the edge with a curious cliffhanger. Just like what Baahubali and KGF, the ending of Salaar sets the stage for Part 2. Slow at start but compelling in its execution, the film manages to capture the audience's attention and ensures that the desire for the next installment lingers long after you leave the theater.

Prashanth Neel's directorial prowess shines through once again, making him a formidable name in the Indian cinema. The film's emotional journey, relentless action and some incomprehensible twists, takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride. The scale of it all is just too overwhelming. But still, Neel's ability to connect with the masses is evident, because he knows his audience. Clearly, this is a film made for the fans.

Prabhas makes a solid comeback, delivering a refreshingly high octane punch after Baahubali. This could be his way to reassure his fans that he is back in top form. His portrayal makes his larger than life character fairly  relatable and engaging.

Overall, for the fans, sure enough, Salaar is a must-watch film, on the big screen. its consistently dark and complex. This action potboiler is a simmering concoction of intense action, immersive visuals and emotional depth.
